Custom Vehicle Operations
Custom Vehicle Operations or CVO™ is division of the Harley-Davidson® company that designs and manufactures custom H-D® motorcycles that are available direct from the factory. A CVO™ model delivers all the cool of a custom bike without any of the hassles and a cheaper price too. CVO™ models have special designs that are exclusive to that model year along with more powerful engines and many high-end extras.
Road Glide®
The Road Glide® is among the best-selling touring bikes in the world and has been since it first rolled off the production line in 1998. A defining feature of this model is the iconic shark-nosed fairing, which is a frame-mounted fairing. The Road Glide® is so popular that Harley-Davidson® offers it a number of variants, including the Road Glide® Special, Road Glide® Limited and Road Glide® ST. You also have the CVO™ option with the Road Glide® and Road Glide® Limited, and the main difference between them is that the Road Glide® is a stripped-downed tourer whereas the Limited is more of a fully dressed tourer.
CVO™ Road Glide® Limited
The CVO™ Road Glide® Limited is based on the Road Glide® Limited, which means that it has the larger windscreen, passenger backrest and touring pack with a luggage carrier. It differs from that model in that it has a more powerful engine and all of the advanced rider assists included as standard equipment.
What’s New for the CVO™ Road Glide® Limited
All Road Glide® models have received a redesigned fairing and upgraded components for both the front and rear suspensions. The 2023 model is available in two designs that are new for and exclusive to this year, and the CVO™ Road Glide® is one of the first models to be powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121.
Performance & Ride Characteristics
The all-new Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 engine is the most powerful engine available on a touring bike through Harley-Davidson® of Rochester. This model is built for two-up riding and has a passenger backrest plus floorboards, stretched saddlebags, a touring pack and luggage carrier. Note that all CVO™ Road Glide® models for 2023 are Limited Anniversary Edition models.
Customization Options
There are no personalization choices that have to be made for the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® Limited Anniversary Edition at the time of purchase. All models have the Heirloom Fade paint scheme with a chrome aesthetic.
